Granite is one of the easiest countertops to maintain clean, especially if it’s sealed correctly! Unfortunately, even granite can get blemishes on it when you have hard water. Hard water stains can cause you to reach for chemicals to get them off, but there’s an easier, natural way to get rid of them!

Materials you will need:

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • A scrub brush
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Water
  • Directions

Step 1: Mix the lemon juice, salt, and olive oil together.

Step 2: Spread it on the stains and leave it on the stains until it dries.

Step 3: Wash the area with warm water and scrub with a brush.

Step 4: Rinse the area with water.

Step 5: Repeat steps 2-4 until you cannot see the hard water stains any longer.

Step 6: Mop up the area to dry it.
